Bromelain is an enzyme derived from the stem of fresh pineapple. The potency of bromelain formulations is determined by levels of enzyme activity, which is measured in GDU (gelatin-dissolving units). This formulation is one of the highest potency bromelain formulations, as it delivers 1000GDU per 400mg tablet. Like all Lamberts products, it is manufactured in the UK to strict Pharmaceutical GMP standards.

Assimilation time: Less than an hour.
Dosage: For joint health: 3 tablets (1 between meals) daily for one week.
Then maintenance dose: 1 tablet a day for 3 to 6 months.
As a digestive aid: 1 tablet before each meal, up to 3 per day.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
