Almora PLUS® CISTUS PROTECT is a dietary supplement with a specially designed composition that helps to strengthen the normal function of the immune system, especially in periods of exacerbation of seasonal infections.

of Cistus creticus extract (Cretan cyst),
of Vitamin D and
of Zinc in its highly bioavailable form
that contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.

The Cretan herb Cistus creticus has been known since antiquity and is traditionally used for its medicinal properties. In almora PLUS® CISTUS PROTECT the Cistus creticus extract is titrated, containing 20% polyphenols. The high concentration of the extract in polyphenols has been studied in vivo and in vitro, documenting its antiviral, antibacterial activity and support of the immune system.

Vitamin D is one of the most important vitamins for the functioning of the body as, among other things, it contributes to the normal condition of bones and teeth as well as to the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin D deficiency is associated with immune system function and an increased risk of infections.

Zinc is a valuable trace element with antiviral activity, which makes it essential for the immune response to viral infections. The administration of Zinc, in appropriate doses has the ability to enhance normal function or to restore the reduced function of the cells of the immune system. In almora PLUS® CISTUS PROTECT, Zinc is in the form of diglycine zinc which in a randomized clinical study has been shown to significantly increase its oral bioavailability.
