Lamidts' Acidophilus Extra 4 contains 4 billion friendly bacteria (at the time of preparation). Bacteria contained in Acidophilus Extra 4 are dried at high temperatures and surrounded by an acidic polysaccharide coating, protecting them from acidic stomach ph. Although Acidophilus is stable at room temperature, it is advisable to store it in the refrigerator to ensure maximum activity. The special packaging of Acidophilus protects against moisture conditions, which are known to contribute to the viability of the bacteria.
