Calmovix Propolis oral spray is a specially designed food supplement to relieve sore throat and signs of inflammation of the common cold such as sore throat, cough & hoarseness.

Its rich composition is based on clinically studied propolis extract, rich in polyphenols, Honey and Althaea, which immediately soften the throat while simultaneously strengthening and fortifying the body.

Propolis consists of many active ingredients, such as resins, waxes, essential oils, pollen, vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and E, minerals such as magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), potassium (K), sodium (Na) , copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe) and polyphenols. Other components with eugenic properties are flavonoids and phenolic acids such as caffeic, coumaric and ferulic acids and caffeic acid phenethyl ester

(CAPE). Propolis exhibits a variety of biological properties, such as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antiviral, antifungal and antioxidant.

The propolis in Calmovix Propolis spray was studied in a single-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial and was shown to help relieve mild symptoms of both bacterial and viral upper respiratory tract infections (URTIs).

Honey consists of micronutrients and macronutrients such as carbohydrates, enzymes, minerals and vitamins. Honey has a potential therapeutic role with phytochemical, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Flavonoids and polyphenols, which act as antioxidants, are two main bioactive molecules present in honey.

Althaea is a medicinal plant that is consumed in cases of inflammation of the nasal, oral cavity and respiratory system. It exhibits a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, while at the same time it has soothing properties for the throat.
